Nazira is a captivating actress and performer from The Boogie Down Bronx with roots stemming from Cote D’Ivoire. She trained at Stella Adler for 2 years and acts with her whole self! Acting has always been a form of escapism and a deep passion for her. It is where she can explore different versions of herself and fully embody different realities. She is excited to join your project and create magic!
Recent Projects
Nazira played “Hawa” a supporting role in the feature film Urban Ed. The film was an official selection for the Boston International Film Festival and Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival where it was nominated as the best feature film. She also was the love interest in the short film Loverboy which is an official selection at REELING 2023: The 41st Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival, Rainbow Fest Chicago’s 2023 Best Screenplay winner, and holds over 150k views on YouTube. She is also in the animation and Webtoonz Kid Chrysalis Butterfly Warrior. Lastly, she produced a short film “Sapphires Corner” starring herself which is expected to be released in Spring 2026.
